Homecoming 2021 Results
First, we want to start by saying that we were overwhelmed by the amount of you who sent in your work and how great all the work is - thank you for participating! We received over 250 entries, which exceeded our expectations for the inaugural exhibition and publication.
As we stated in our open call, we would be selecting a minimum of 100 photographers to be included in the exhibition and catalog. We also noted that every applicant would be included in a downloadable PDF that is keyword searchable for curators and editors. As a bonus, we will now show the photographers' work, not hanging physical prints on a video display at JKC Gallery, allowing the entire cohort of applicants to be represented in the exhibition and downloadable PDF.
The exhibition was held at the JKC Gallery in Trenton, NJ, from December 8th to February 28th, with a reception on December 11th, 2021.
*All prints were printed and mounted by FujiFilm US at no cost to the photographers. The exhibition will remain as a collective to try and exhibit elsewhere as a collective. You will be notified of any additional venues so that you may add them to your CV.
All applicants must fill out this google form by October 15th to be included in the PDF catalog & virtual exhibition. The same google form is required for those in the physical exhibition and printed publication.
